Welcome to the Institute of Accountancy Arusha Library. Our library seeks to support the teaching, learning, and research activities of the Institute community by providing various information resources and services.
The library has an amount of electronic and print information resources with local and international research coverage. To enhance effective utilization of these resources, the library has highly invested in human and technical resources, making it well-endowed with highly-trained staff who are always happy to assist users in locating, retrieving and using information. On top of that, the library is equipped with advanced facilities and enough space hence providing a conducive environment for reading, reflecting and writing.

OPENING HOURS
A librarian is there to help library users find the best resources his/her their topic, develop search strategies, locate primary sources, and search the web for credible information.
Ask Librarian is a collaborative virtual reference service that connects students, faculty members, and researchers from participating Institute libraries across IAA with real-time library and research assistance through chat. Ask Librarian is a free service for people to ask library and research reference-related questions to IAA library reference Staff. Usually provides a free, quick reference service and basic answers to brief, factual questions.
Our chat service is available through Whatsapp group, Telegram, and E-mail.
Email is checked throughout each day during the work week (Monday through Friday). We will respond as quickly as possible, typically within 1 business day of receipt of the question (excluding weekends and holidays). If extensive research is required, we will let you know that we are working on it and provide an approximate time frame.
